Genesta is happy to announce the release of the ESG report 2023. This document showcases our commitment to sustainability and our efforts to make a positive impact on the environment and society.

In 2023 we jointly achieved several significant milestones with our environmental and social initiatives, that help us actively embraced sustainability in the real estate sector through a comprehensive understanding of our impacts – not only within our own operations but also throughout the entire value chain.

• We proudly achieved a significant milestone with EU Taxonomy alignment in 6 out of 7 buildings in our Core Plus Open-Ended Fund, demonstrating our dedication to ensuring that our operations meet stringent environmental criteria
  
• Initiated a full greenhouse gas (GHG inventory) in line with the Greenhouse Gas Protocol across Scope 1, 2 and 3 to set a baseline for SBTi target setting. This work is fully aligned with our embedded carbon strategy.
• Full implementation of the CRREM model for all our assets
• Implementation of a human rights due diligence process to identify and actively manage adverse human rights impacts in Genesta’s operations and value chain. We also implemented a KYC, Code of Conduct, Whistle Blower and Exclusions policy into tenant and supplier contracting
• 2.5 MWP photovoltaic systems were installed at our assets in 2023, generating energy for our tenants and own operations
• Improved ESG data accuracy and scope on asset level (see chapter 7 for fund-specific performance.
