New Lease in Zinko

Stockholm, Sweden 28/10/26

A gym works best when it is part of people’s everyday lives. On Hornsgatan, we reach both those who live on Södermalm and those who work in the area. The combination of a central location and an exciting quarter in the making makes Zinko an attractive place for us.

Gym chain STC has signed a lease with Genesta for approximately 450 square metres in Zinko, at Hornsgatan 122–130 in Stockholm. The gym is scheduled to open around the turn of the year and will welcome both local residents and people working in the blocks around Zinkensdamm and Hornstull. The move is in line with Genesta’s vision for Zinko – a modern office quarter where workplaces, services and city life come together.

On Hornsgatan, midway between Zinkensdamm and Hornstull, Genesta has given five interconnected buildings totalling 11,000 square metres a new lease of life. The result is Zinko – an office quarter where modern workspaces meet the period architecture and character of the buildings.

STC’s new gym will be part of the quarter’s planned range of services and meeting places.

The combination of a central location and an exciting quarter in the making makes Zinko an attractive place for us, says Anders Carlbark, CEO of STC.

For Genesta, the opportunity to combine work with exercise, services and social activities is a key part of the Zinko concept. The aim is to create workplaces that meet companies’ needs and make everyday life easier and more appealing for their employees, with amenities including a restaurant, coffee bar, conference centre and gym.

– We are delighted to welcome STC to Zinko. When companies choose an office today, it is about more than the workspace itself. The location, the feel, the surroundings and what the workplace can offer employees play an increasingly important role. With STC, we are creating even better conditions for an active and convenient everyday life, while adding something of value to the whole neighbourhood, says Ted Söderlund, Head of Investment Management at Genesta.

Zinko is a three-minute walk from the Zinkensdamm and Hornstull metro stations, with restaurants, cafés, parks and waterfront walks just around the corner. The property offers office premises from approximately 650 square metres, with the option to adapt both size and layout to each business’s needs.
