Genesta has signed a lease encompassing approximately 1,000 square meter in its landmark office property Ferring/Neroport in the Ørestad area of Copenhagen.

The global medical technology company Smith+Nephew opened their new premises in December 2021 and the lease term is 7.5 years.

- Our new facility represents a major investment in a modern office property in the Nordics region. Our employees will enjoy a state-of-the-art working environment that includes flexible working areas designed around encouraging collaboration, focused work, networking, and socializing, says Simon Tarry, Smith+Nephew´s managing director in UK, Ireland & Nordics.

The Property

enesta acquired the 32,704 square meter multi-let building in April 2021. With its 80-meter tower, the property is one of the tallest buildings in Denmark, even visible from the Øresund bridge. Located between the city center and Copenhagen Airport, the office property benefits from excellent infrastructure, including the Ørestad metro station and regional train station right outside the door.

- We are excited to have Smith+Nephew as a tenant and to offer them such high quality office space. This landmark property is in the process of being transformed to a modern and sustainable property with strong focus on people and new ways of working, says David Neil, CEO Genesta.
