Genesta Joins Forces with eQ
eQ’s strategy, culture and long-term approach make it a strong owner for Genesta. Together, we can strengthen our position in asset management and grow the business internationally. Joining forces with eQ will provide our clients with a significantly broader service offering and create development opportunities for our personnel as part of a larger organisation.

Genesta is pleased to announce that eQ Plc, the Finnish listed asset management group, has signed an agreement to acquire Genesta. Together, we will build a broader Nordic real estate investment management platform with a strong international reach.
Since 2003, we have grown into a Nordic real estate investment manager with three funds, offices in Stockholm, Helsinki, Oslo, Copenhagen and Luxembourg, and long-standing relationships with institutional investors across Europe. Becoming part of eQ gives us a strong, long-term owner and the opportunity to offer our clients a significantly broader range of services.
Genesta’s partners David C. Neil, Philip Björk, Daniel Tallqvist and Ted Söderlund will continue to develop the business as part of eQ.

The transaction is subject to regulatory approvals and is expected to be completed no later than the first quarter of 2027. Until then, Genesta will continue to operate independently, and it is business as usual for our clients, investors and partners.
