Genesta Acquires Landmark Office Property in Copenhagen
Genesta acquires the office property Ferring/Neroport located in Ørestad City, Copenhagen from Castellum. The 32,704 sqm multi-let building will be transformed to a modern and sustainable property to suit the future demand from office tenants.
This building is a perfect addition to our portfolio of strategically located office properties across the Nordics. I´m proud of the team – this is the second transaction in a few weeks.
- David Neil, CEO Genesta.
Area Defining Landmark
With its 80-meter tower, the landmark property is one of the highest buildings in Denmark, even visible from the Øresund bridge. Located between the city center and Copenhagen Airport, the office property benefits from excellent infrastructure, including Ørestad metro station right outside the door.
After the anchor tenant, Ferring Pharmaceuticals, vacates the property Genesta will undertake an extensive refurbishment to create a modern concept to suit the changing office landscape. The transformed property, coupled with its excellent location, will make it an attractive product on the leasing market.
This unique property has great potential. We are excited about creating a property that truly caters to the changing needs of office users.
- David Neil.
