BLVRD21 is a great example of urban architecture. It is endearingly rough, avoiding cold polished surfaces. The building was completed in 1961 to impose architect Niilo Kokko’s vision. Its facade represents a style typical to the 1960s, which makes it architecturally and historically estimable. Made of copper, glass and red brick, the facade represents internationalism, creativity and innovation.
